It's the year of... Something. Technology is still relatively the same, just refined. New trends comes and goes, popping and fading away to the sands of time eternal.
Everything else? Well, things have been going well for the residents of Earth most of the time. Though, daily life has gotten a bit boring, that is until recently.
Yet another regular day in a bustling metropolis, name and location irrelevant. A huge earthquake occurred out of nowhere, though luck is in the people's side for now since there's no causalities nor broken properties. Then what can only be described as.... "glitches in the matrix" has been spotted by what started as a few individuals, then nearly half of the citizens, quite crazy indeed.
