I've been on the road since August now, jet-setting around the world, staying in beautiful hotels, meeting interesting people and dining customers on expenses. Weekends drag on as I anticipate my Monday morning flight/train so I can do it all again. I can't believe how awesome this is; I'm living the dream! Translation: Since August, I've been everywhere but home, staying in soulless rooms fresh from the photocopier, making superficial connections with people who don't really like me anyway, and paying so I can swallow. I was 'dancing' with Kayleigh this morning (she lies on her back while I move her arms and legs in time with the music).  I was singling along when I looked into those beautiful blue eyes of hers and something in me broke; I started crying. They say that kids change you in ways that you can never know until you've become a parent.  I can't speak for others but I can say that Kayleigh has changed me in ways that I could never have imagined.  I have emotions that I've never had before; emotions that transcend anything that I've ever felt before.  And they were right; I never, not once in my life, saw this coming.
