Some fanart of LUFTRAUSERS, Vlambeer's amazing plane-shooty-explosions game for PC/Vita/PS3. It’s made my morning commutes infinitely more fun and the soundtrack has been my backdrop at work since Kozilek released it on Bandcamp. This also wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for Paul Veer’s amazing pixel art work in the game. The color palette and motion in the game is nothing short of astonishing.

I was thinking the other day about how one might do fan art for this game, was thinking of doing some myself, envisioned it a bit like this but not as good. Now you've done this, it's effectively made what was in my brain redundant, this is perfect, right down to the use of bullet sprites.

Hm, perhaps the image is too large? It's at 1920x1200 and I don't know if the Vita jives with that. Maybe try resizing it? (Or maybe it's just dumb and hates .PNGs)
I tried making it a JPEG, then I tried compressing it.
I intend to try again today, I'll open it in photoshop and make a version that's the Vita's specific resolution.

Luftrausers is such a fun game! And this pic turned out so well, I just love the colors in Luftrausers
The color palette is amazing, yeah. I envy Paul Veer's pixel art skills.
