Yep. So I landed my dream job at one of my favourite game companies (for privacy reasons I won't tell you which one) and started working there full-time about two weeks ago, which has kept me relatively busy. Before anyone gets excited, I'm not working as a game designer or artist (at this point I don't want to do that professionally because it's too stressful for me and I don't do well with deadlines of any kind), but I really love our company culture, my team and the fact that everyone at the office is a game nerd. For the first time in my professional life, I feel like I'm surrounded by the right kind of people, and it's working wonders on my mental health. I'm really happy with where I am right now.
I also moved back to Finland officially late in January and left Sweden behind. My fiancťe is joining me later this year and moving preparations are already underway, so lots of very positive and very much needed changes are coming my way. 2019 already looks and feels better than the past five or so years lmao about damn time.
Also: the deviantART site-wide update finally became accessible to my account like a week ago and I've been slowly learning how to navigate it. So far I really like it - definitely puts your art better in the focus if you ask me - and the UI feels more intuitive and modern overall. There are some hiccups of course, kind of to be expected with such a huge update, but I can see dA becoming a lot more user-friendly with this. I really like dA even after all these years and I like having a social media site that's exclusively for the art community, so this just cements my desire to stay and be active here.
