Me: I am finally going to start organising my free time and work on being more active on dA.
Also me: I have no desire to be on the internets or be social. Let's just Netflix and chill.

Once life settles down... it will be better and maybe I'll have more focus.

To be fair, tho, there's much to be said about the wonders of chilling :3

Too true. And life is kinda all over the place anyway. I just miss you guys and being active.

If I can say, allow yourself some slack. You are dealing with a lot right now - and sometimes, no matter how hard you try, there simply aren't enough hours in a day to get everything done. Once you'll find some kind of balance, I'm sure you will be able to fit in some othe rthings <3

Thank you for this reminder. I tend to be rather hard on myself and think I can do everything "right now", and that has been my real struggle since moving countries and starting this job. But adjusting and getting all that paperwork done takes time, and you are right. Taking things one thing at a time and working things in once I am settled is most important. <3

I believe that, more often than not, we are the harshest judges of ourselves - which is detrimental, since everything we do never seems to be just 'enough'. And so down the rabbit hole of feeling worthless/not good enough begins :( (Sad) Besides, adulting is hard - hella hard. And no one has the 'magic recipe' to get everything working at the first go - it's just a long game of learning and improving over time, which is a pretty tiring thing all considered. Therefore, take the time you need and don't worry about how much this may be Heart

(Also, happy - late - B-day! Hope you had an amazing day and got plenty of cake Hug )

I think you are quite right. I have been consulting with my parents on different aspects of buying necessary items and moving, and they have also mentioned that it's really just a trial and error process, like all adults go through. But adulting really is hard... especially when your life has turned upside down. :faint:  Thank you for your kind words, they are definitely a reminder to not be so hard on myself. <3 I really appreciate it.

(Thank you! I had an amazing weekend! I went to CPH to visit my friends and there was lots of cake involved.)
