Dancing girls by Atelierdereve Dancing girls by Atelierdereve
I finally made it ! This is the illustration of the chapter 6 of my fanfiction Bras de fer, gant de velours ! (You can read it here if you speack french :… ) I kinda lost myself in the multiples details for days and I thought that I would never finish it, but I did ! :D

Say hello to Ariane, Dorine, Roxane, June, Katalyn and Carine ;)

Copics, thin colored pens, white pencil and thin ball-point pen on A3 layout. Lost count of hours. XD

"lost myself in multiple details" I can see that :XD:

Nice work with the more pastel background and the characters with more vivid clothes and colors. Really nice job with the copics, I didn't even notice you were training with those. And it is an A3, this makes more sense now, only a big space to make all these details

Thank you ! I have dozens of copics, but I don't use them really often, so I don't feel comfortable with it yet. So, I'm still trying to practice (and what's best to try to do technical things like mirror, lace, wood and patterns ? XD) Of course, make so much details on a smaller drawing would have been a nightmare (I don't even want to think of it ^^°)

By the way, I'm happy that you noticed the constrast I tried to get to get contrast between the main characters and the rest of the drawing. :)

Oh, drawing details in a small space is too difficult, when I read "A3" I was like "Oh, now that makes more sense! I thought it was an A4!"

You're welcome.

Well, sometimes I make small and détaillés drawings, but then it's some A6 or even smaller, but I used other tools. Impossible to do this with copics ! ^^°
