THU Malta Golden Ticket Challenge
Here's the final version of my entry for the THU Golden Ticket Challenge on ArtStation. The topic for the challenge is "Malta - Land of Wonder". Well Malta and espacially it's capital Valletta and the historical city of Mdina are truely wonderful places for me. I decided to reflect that wonderful impression I had when I was there and create a place that could really exist and that I would have loved to discover. The focus of the painting is the environment design, so I tried not to bring in too much storytelling. The design of the painting is heavily influenced by some of the places in Valletta that I fell in Love with like the narrow streets filled with oriels, the colorful balconies, and the beautiful churches.
