Self-doubt as a photographer... do you feel it?
Often after I look at my own photos repeatedly I am overwhelmed with the feeling of doubt. This doubt usually comes from a lack of personal satisfaction in my work and wondering if it reflects my true self. Being a modest person, sometimes I have a hard time calling myself an artist. This may be due to the fact that I had no education/training in the arts whatsoever. Does art really need to come from people who are learned in the arts, or can anyone make it? I struggle with this. Excellent Landscape Photography Book
I came across this book at my library and it has been a great source of inspiration. It is called Landscape (Library of World Photography), ISBN 0-940595-00-1, and celebrates the best landscape photography from around the world. Many are black and white since it starts at a the early 1800's and comes all the way up to 1975. Yes, the book is a little bit older, but the content is exceptional and really shows the versatility of landscape photography. Check it out if you can! Link to Amazon.com's listing. You can buy for as little as $0.57 USD. http://www.amazon.com/Landscape-Library-World-Photography-Plowden/dp/0940595001/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s
