Safety in Numbers - Part 3
The rest of the day was rather uneventful. While the rumbling of distant explosions continued outside, the small group of ragdolls could do little but wander around and explore the sanctuary. 2, 5 and the twins had stumbled upon a large library collection, but to the twins’ disappointment it seemed to be mostly copies of the exact same book, it would not keep them busy for long.

Each of them took a moment to stare in awe at the massive building they found themselves in, the ceiling was taller than even the war machines. It felt powerful, but also exposing, like they were being watched from every direction. The warplane that had crashed into the roof and was somehow stuck didn’t help, its propellers slowly spinning with the wind, like any moment it could come to life and crash down upon them.
”Can we put him down here?” 7 broke the silence, even her soft tones were echoing among the walls.
”Yes, yes. This will do.” Answered 2,
