Shikran

The shikran, being a distant cousin of the ferox, has a similar combination of both mammalian and reptilian traits, but these small creatures specialize in digging. They prefer to live in underground burrows which they dig out themselves, using the crest on their snout to help shovel dirt. They live in small family groups where they raise their young collectively.

Despite their small size, shikrans are known for their agressive behaviour and will try to intimidate and snap at anyone they deem as a threat, but are also quick to flee if they become overwhelmed. They live on average for 10-15 years.
