These massive mountain dwellers have for unkown reasons dwindled in numbers in just the last few years, what was once a force to be reckon with is now a very rare sight. The gigils live solitary lives and very rarley interact with others of their kind. Females can get 1-2 cubs which she raises on her own while the males are exremely territorial, even against potential mates.
It is said that these rare creatures possess the ability to predict the future, as the only time they seem to show themselves is right before natural disasters. However some say that they are the reincarnations of those who died by the hands of another, thus causing destruction and cursing those who harmed them.
Seeing a gigil is believed to be a bad omen.
