Hallo,

I would like to start with astrophotograpy and was wondering if you all could give me some tips. I'm starting light with a 80mm goto telescope and a cheap SLR camera.

You need a sturdy, STABLE mount to start off with.

Usually a German Equatorial is needed for astrophotography.

You need a mean to accurately follow the object as well.
