Hey guys, I've been a bit quiet this week because I ended up with a new dog which I hadn't planned for.  I'm super excited about having her and she's been pretty amazing so far, but it's definitely thrown things for a loop.  Between trying to adjust to having a new dog, working with her schedule so that this transition isn't as difficult for her, and constantly finding new things we need to pick up from the store for her since of course, we weren't really planning on adding another dog... things have been something for me to need to adjust to.  This week we're focusing on  Spontaneous Portraits.  The definition behind such portraiture is quite simple. It involves shots that are captured on the spur of the moment. They're not planned, they aren't set up, there could be things obscuring the models face, and there's often no time for makeup and lighting! But it's not simply the back of someone's head, or a funny face being pulled.
