Breeding Rules

The time has come where I feel I really need to jump on the breeding rules bandwagon and post some of my own.  While I've been fortunate enough to have little to no drama I think it's wise for me to publically state what I wish for from people who get breeding slots from me (sold gifted or otherwise).

I do not require breeding pictures unless it was part of our agreed upon deal when you got the slot.  Please keep in mind that while I do not require this, some other people do, so please be sure you are following everyones rules before sending in for your genos.

Common courtesy states that giving me a breeding slot to the foal or kitten is the right thing to do unless I state that I do not need/want it.  While this is something I've not tried to enforce so far, please just be kind and list me for a sire or dam slot.  Also, if both horses or cats are mine, I still only require ONE slot to the foal/kitten.  

Mutation breedings!  Please let me know if you wish to breed a dominant mutation from one of mine.  While I am open to allowing Doms, there are some (specifically Cavitto and Mauaati) I'd rather not allow doms from my mutations without my prior consent.  

In the case that you decide to store/delete or otherwise remove art made for me as part of a breeding slot sale, I have the right to either reupload the art giving full credit or reclaim the foal/kitten.  I also ask that you please let me know that you are planning on storing/deleting etc the art beforehand so I can save it.  

Should you decide to sell the foal/kitten from one of mine, I'd like to have first dibs on buying it.  Please be reasonable and do not expect me to pay more than what you paid for it to begin with and keep any depreciations in value in mind like no more breeding slots left etc.  

All sales are final!  Just to cover my own ass here.. if you buy a slot from me and then do something stupid enough to get blacklisted/banned from the breed, I fail to see why I should refund your money for your screw up.  If you buy a slot and a month later decide you no longer want it, I likely won't be able to give you a refund.. I am happy to work with you as I can in such situations should they arise, but be respectful of the fact that I do not have money just laying around and if I make money, I don't sit on it waiting for the day that the person who gave it to me may ask for it back, that's just not how things work in the real world.  

Art Payment Sales, I reserve the right to make your slot unusable until art payments have been uploaded and confirmed to be worth what was asked.  I am happy to give you more time to complete the art for a sale, however should you go for 3 or more months without updating me by note or otherwise, I reserve the right to remove you from the slot. Should this happen and you have uploaded a partial payment, you are welcome to delete/or store the art at your own discretion.  

If you wish to sell a slot you bought from me, you are welcome to do so but please contact me before you do (I may want to buy it back from you) and please do not sell it for more than you paid me for the slot.  

inbreeding is not allowed with most breeds, please be sure to check the lineage before you use your slot from me. In the event that you breed an inbred foal/kitten, you will need to purchase a new slot if you wish to try again with a different mate.  

Once you have designed and uploaded your foal/kitten please send me a link so I can keep all breeding slots updated.  Please send me a link as well once it is registered.  I'd also love it very much if you would update me if any of my horses/cats offspring earn levels which give my horses/cats points.  

blacklisting!  As we can see I do not have a black list and honestly I'd like to not have to make one either.  Please just be respectful and considerate and we shouldn't have any problems, I swear I don't bite.

Offers.  All of my cats and horses are open to offers on their breeding slots even if they say closed.  You may note me with an offer at any time.  Please be respectful of the fact that I can decline any offer for any reason (maybe it's too cold outside that day and I simply want to say no!).
