Description
See page one for explanation [link]
continued on page 3 [link]
The Gothic 3 Artbook (the big green one) was a great help on colouring this page, specially the armour and the insignia, like Rhobar's code of arms, or Innos' holy icon.
I could not have drawn the Esmeralda without it, either.
This page complains about a lot of things. Ever played G3 without a patch? I had to, since the patch kept corrupting my game to the point where I couldn't save anymore.
If you played without any patches you'll probably remember the deadly wild boar, extincting whole cities because its attack rate was just too damn high.
Also a favourite game error is the superflous last Goblet of Fire, since there's no Paladin to give it to, since one dialog option had not been implemented. How disconcerting !
And last but not least, Lee and his vanished background story.
What disappointed me most about Gothic 3 were not the bugs, but the lack of detail in story and the unimportance and paleness of the characters established in the first two games. The well fleshed out characters were always what I loved most about this game. The scene in which Lee told you about his story back in New Camp of Gothic 1 was just beautiful. But in Gothic 3 the developers seem to have forgotten about the details and only kept the “revenge” part… and even his revenge is twisted! He was supposed to take revenge on the nobles that got him a life sentence and not just go butcher the king. *sigh*
The new design of Hero's companions also bothered me. That's what the last panel's about. Poor Diego. But at least he does not look like he was run over by a car, which is what Milten does look like in G3.
