Japanese Magnolias -old-

This is one of several silkscreen prints I did my junior year of high school. I did silkscreen because of time pressures, though TBH I like the look of lino-cuts and intaglio prints better, and I'm better at those. This was probably my favorite serigraph, mostly because of the subject matter.

Kiddies, if you ever try this at home, beware; the red ink smells absolutely noxious. Think of the smell of the most pungent, bitter-sweet-smelling ammonia-based detergent you've ever used and then add to it the odor of concentrated stomach acid.
