Been a while since I've been here, but I'm hoping to come back after a little hiatus. Not sure if anyone missed me, lol. But hoping creativity strikes me again. Got fresh batteries for my cheap-o camera, and 3 terabytes of HDD space to fill up, so we'll see what happens.
Not sure what the hell to write, but fuggit, who cares, right?
Lately been experimenting, and trying to learn features of Photoshop. Also been trying to find interesting things to take photos of. So far been unlucky on my second quest, but have been slowly learning a few things with PS.
Lately, also, been more interesting in killing bad guys, in FPS games like Call of Duty (all installments except for #3, which isn't available for PC).
Broke my thumb the other day, medicating with Sailor Jerry rum, and with Glenfiddich 12 year-old single malt Scotch whisky. Said "fuck the hospital and their drugs and their bills, I'll fix me myself!"
on Elysian Sunset. I'm complimented you like this. As you very likely already know, in Greek mythology, Elysium (Greek: Ἠλύσια πεδία) was a section of the Underworld (the spelling Elysium is a Latinization of the Greek word Ἠλύσιον Elysion). The Elysian Fields, or the Elysian Plains, were the final resting places of the souls of the heroic and the virtuous. I'm very complimented you like this photo. [link]
I learned a little of Underworld, and what was hopefully true/accurate, from the Percy and the Olympians series of books. I love Greek mythology, and want to study it in more detail, when I get back to college again. Not sure if I'll be able to learn the ancient or modern Greek spoken/written language, but I'd love to learn as much as possible. Thanks for writing, AndySerrano!
