i have come to wonder about . the intelligence of spiders...
The spiders of Leng and those of Mirkwood in LOTR (greatest fantasy novel of Western Man) are uncannily intelligent.
I;ve read that rectangles of silk may be seen in some spiderwebs. To us they are solid white, BUT they are pics of flowers in colors that we can not see, JAL and ULFER. Insects , mindless, can dee them ...
