Thanks for adding this set to your favourites.
It's too difficult to explain whole making process in English, because i don't know right technical terms even in my own language. My metal works are usually weird mix of forging, grinding, machining and not just only traditional blacksmith methods.

Making flared ends is quite basic blacksmith stuff, because when you forge some steel rod thinner from the ends they also get wider and make that kind of shapes. Only more difficult part for making pendants like these is the middle joint. (For example the rings are made from solid steel rod with lathe, because open rings can't take that stress when you put all the parts together and flatten the jointed structure with hammer.)

Neat!

Were these tedious to make? They kinda look like they might be. That could just be because I'm not a blacksmith, though.

This design was actually quite fast and easy to make, because of that simple structure. You don't also need to polish all the surfaces like in typical silver or steampunk pendants so it makes the work more fun.

For example simple wall hooks or traditional forged nails are usually a lot more tedious, because i have made so many them over the years.. :P

I love how each one has a feel of genuine work to it. These are clearly not mass produced or anything cheaply made.
