New MLP Episode inspired art for my MLP Season 7 Episode Art collection!
Season 7, Episode 18: Daring Done?

I was so meh today I ended up making two pieces haha. Both pretty quickly thrown together. I guess motivation wasn't there to clean and sharpen em up more. So just a soft brush all over hah.

This episode had that classic villian logic going on, not the biggest fan of that, but it's not bad. Besides the culture inclusion of Egypt was a nice take on it. It makes total sense to do that in relation to ancient artefacts and relics.

Now I want to see more African inspired areas, more south than Egypt hehe.

That looks hella real. It looks like ceramic art. That’s amazing!
Your light/shadow defines shapes in 3-d way not many people can pull off. It gives shape and structure to our favorite simplified Flash animation characters. Keep up the amazing work.
Judging by the title, these two ponies are actually sleeping.

This looks better than anything I'd be able to make, but I feel like she's too shiny. eyes are moist, metal gleemes, those parts of her makes sense, but her fur, or...at least...in this case it looks like skin, hard white shine on her left makes it look like she's made entirely of plastic or a very reflective fluid. If you used a slightly different shade for her skin, rather than an almost pure white color, it might look more natural. if you were going for a plastic appearance then sobeit, but if not, then I'd recommend you look into how light affects different objects like fabric, metal, skin, fur, etc.

there's like a weird split on the left one's eye and the right one i am curious what is being reflected in that eye

Surprised how simple this week's episode themed art is. Not that I'm critiquing here but I assumed it was gonna be more elaborate.
