The Season 4 Finale art continues!
Next Saturday stream another one

That would be number 4 I did for the finale. Another night piece, oh gosh.
This scene was fairly passive in it's nature. Me trying to put some drama to the perspective and angle led to some failed directions at the start.
Had to redo the initial under painting several times. Then I figured I had to go into a portrait canvas rather than landscape.

Anywho, the meeting between these 2 marked quite a beginning. The turning of Discord was so well done. No fancy words of confirmation needed from Discord, showing how persuasive Tirek was.

In the end it also helped show that Discord was very inexperienced when it came to the value of friendship. Not really realising what he was going to give up. Until he later lost it.
Great episode for Discord, reaching such a broken state.

I'll have to try and get a time lapse for this one out, still need to do another as well.

As I look at this artwork I immediately feel a sense of wonder and intimidation. With Discord not recently discovering the magic of friendship, it seems not much in his nature anymore to give it up. At least not so easily. The colors blend well together and capture the expressions of both characters excellently. I tried to find similarity of pattern between the clouds and Lord Tirek's cloak, but I happily didn't find any. Every object in the image has a distinct style and you bring together everything in a simple setting. I salute to you a really great job!
