New Episode, Bigger Birb.
Pretty cool to see some more mega fauna about! (and a Mythology tied one while they're at it)
I do like my some good scale, so I had to paint this. Inspired composition by some of my previous works, and kept pretty brief in creation time as well, similar to the same pieces. Blur, blur away ah, big beak.

Pretty cool to see some more mega fauna about! (and a Mythology tied one while they're at it)
I do like my some good scale, so I had to paint this. Inspired composition by some of my previous works, and kept pretty brief in creation time as well, similar to the same pieces. Blur, blur away ah, big beak.
Bit harder to do this composition because there's no ground to play with for depth reference, or stuff like that. Just air and some stupid clouds getting in the way of everything.
This episode tho. Quite... a change hah. Also having all the different characters involved is always fun. Seeing Zecora still being the primary go-to Zebra whenever something ails ya. Putting them hospital ponies some competition. (Her tree looked awesome again)
Bunch of lore building.
Birds this size also reminded me of my First Contact War, massive ancient gryphons of similar size. One day I'll return to some of that. Too occupied with other stuff still, for now.

Imagine if The Roc was in Skyrim. You could probably use her to lure dragons to fight her instead of you if they are too powerful to kill!
