Never thought Thecodontosaurus caducus was even ineteresting, which makes this picture even more astounding. I love the white on black, and it looks really painful to do if it's done by hand with ink and the like. The feeling of depth and texture is amazing. It looks like a night picture, and it's been caught inthe glare of a flashlight. Love it.

Thanks. The scales took 1 whole day with the pencil shading.

This really would look good in a site, as some head design or something; I like how the different elements are put together: the animal, the palnts, the white circle and black background.

And wow! They had big eyes and odd teeth. Kinda leaf-shaped. Eheh.

Yes, prosauropod teeth are leaf-shaped. Exactly.

Very impressive... very impressive indeed. Your attention to detail amazes me. And I've noticed you have quite a bit of skill with plants and vegetation.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks. I always try to make the dinosaurs "look alive again". As for the plants, I'm also botanist. Some Ginkgo, some ferns... and it gives the piece a Mesozoic mood.

The detail is amazing. May I ask the medium that you used to create this?

Thanks.
I only used pencil, scan settings, and " normal" effects with Paint Shop Pro. It made pencil look amost like ink.
