“Why are you here?” The words weren’t questioning, no, they were accusatory in their tone, making Atticus smirk, he was in human form, one more familiar even than his ketucari one. It was a risk, his human form was known elsewhere, tied to a name that could expose him if he wasn’t careful…but he doubted anyone here would make the connection. The pale muscular male lifted his glass of some bitter alcohol and tipped it back, smacking his lips before crossing his legs and finally turning to face the source of the voice.
Ah, so it was one of these freak of nature ketixi then? He knew of them, strange hybrids, and now the world was celebrating them. Atticus had interest in celebrating, no, he had interest in money, and an exotic creature like a ketixi could fetch Rairakku and the caravan a pretty penny.
“It’s a festival isn’t it dear? I’m simply partaking in the…festivities.” He swirled the alcohol to prove a point and took a bigger sip, letting his mind travel over this ketixi, getting a
Kharma had to admit, the festival was quite a nice event to roam about, so many new faces and new experiences, he was almost overwhelmed by it all. He hummed quietly to himself, tail swaying behind him as he wandered about. He had found himself on the outskirts of the festival grounds, Velukaelo was a huge, strange world, but definitely gorgeous, that he couldn’t deny. He was really enjoying the sheer variety of fauna and pets he’d seen around the festival, some absolutely adorable and others looking as if they’d come straight from the wildest parts of the chasm itself.
His paws continued to lead him forward, the bustle and chaos of the festival barely a hum behind him now. He sighed tiredly, finding a large well shaded tree he couldn’t help but feel it would be the absolute perfect place for a brief but much needed nap.
He settled down and leaned his back against the tree, a tired yawn escaping his maw as his eyes drifted shut, sleep claiming him after only a few minutes.

Fleet was absolutely in his element, festival game after festival game, he’d been practically winning them all! So much so his bags were overflowing with prizes and gold from his feats and victories. He smirked, feeling excited and proud of his winning streak, before pausing to cast a frustrated glare at THAT game, that dreaded awful RIGGED game of RING TOSS!! He scowled, standing there fuming at the stand and it’s smug looking heldyr owner. He knew he probably looked insane, but it was the one game he just couldn’t seem to win, and it was driving the orange toa INSANE!!
He growled, taking a minute to sit down and huff, trying to figure out just HOW he was going to win that stupid rigged mess of a game when a soft warm voice reached his ears.
“E-excuse me? I couldn’t help but notice you seem to be angry with that ring toss tent over there?”
Fleet growled, whipping his head around eyes narrowed. “Yeah?! What’s it to ya!” He looked the stranger over, noting they were a rixixi, dark

Bee and Seline Meet a Caiterpillar
Seline huffed softly, the dalavash turned ketu was currently in her human form, arms crossed tightly against her chest as she pressed close to the large frizzle ryno beside her. Bee had insisted they go to the festival with the rest of their group, and while Seline admitted she was having fun, the sheer amount of people was starting to overwhelm her.
Bee had immediately noticed the increasing stress in her girlfriend and had suggested the two branch off to get a snack and relax in a less crowded area of the festival, to which Seline had wholeheartedly agreed. The frizzle gently butted Seline’s side with her shoulder and smiled warmly at her partner, icy blue eyes sparkling with mirth. “So what do you think we should get to eat? I was thinking something fried for sure.” The ryno chuckled.
Seline looked contemplative, running a hand through her hair and glancing at the many food stalls around them, a huff escaping her. “Bee, hun, I’m pretty sure like ninety percent of things here are
Lass was, to be quite honest, overwhelmed by the sheer crowd and chaos and NEW things around her. Her dads had taken her to the festival for some fun, and while it was indeed fun, it was also…a lot to take in at once! The rixixi and other new beings were awesome! It was just so much new and hard to process, she she had found herself hiding under a large tree near the festival grounds, having told her dads she would be right back, the young silkie had her head on her paws, wanting to get back to the fun, but feeling to anxious to do so.
“H..e…llo.” A voice reached her ears and she started at the sight before her, a strange ixi with all sorts of…floating eyes…was smiling at her, her paws crossed politely in front of her as she nodded to the little kadin.
“Oh um, hello…” She responded nervously.
She sat up, smiling softly at the stranger, who sat a respectable distance beside her. “O..kay?” She asked, and Lass nodded.
“Yeah, I could use a friend right now…things are a lot right now.

Three Heads Are Better Than...Two?
“We should definitely get something savory first!” Dos spoke confidently, the right head was very adamant about it, as she was about literally everything. “But I want something sweet! We always get savory first! Why don’t we mix it up this time?!” Tres, the left head, interjected, his tone almost pitiful in its pleading.
“Oh would you two please hush!” Uno, the main head that made up Hellhound mumbled, feeling embarrassed about the spectacle the other two were making. He noticed the residents of Velukaelo were eyeing them strangely, not quite used to beings with multiple heads it seemed…except the otter-like ones! They seemed entirely unphased and were quite friendly towards the trio, even talking about a deity of theirs with two heads! Though Hellhound was partial to having three, for obvious reasons, at least he knew they weren’t alone!

New Friends And Tasty Pies
The fizzy taste of the cocktail settled pleasantly on Karliah’s tongue as she sipped it lazily. It was free of any alcohol, the kadin not being in the mood to get buzzed right now, the fruity concoction she was sipping on right now was plenty fine for her. She was loving the festival so far, getting to finally celebrate the joining of ketucari and Rixixi was incredible! She ran fingers through her long red hair, preferring to explore the festival in her human form considering how crowded it currently was.
She had passed a few food stands, her stomach growling but her mind having trouble deciding exactly what she wanted to eat, that was until the enticing scent of flaky pastry dough and warm spiced and sugared fruits hit her nose. She found herself in front of a pie stand, at first not seeing anyone, and almost yelped in surprise when a chubby, gorgeou ixi raised their head from under the stand. “Oh! Apologies my dear! I was simply grabbing more ingredients, these pies are selling out
“Erebus look!!” The Lucerne danuoc glanced down to see the frizzled form of his lover's little brother poking his head above the water. The young one had just reached his fourth birthday and had convinced the lucerne to take him on a fishing expedition.
Erebus smiled at the sight of the massive fish laid at his feet by the younger of the two toa. “Sweet Igyera that is a monster of a fish you got there!” He quickly dispatched the fish before it could flop its way off their little fishing vessel.
“Right!? It was FAST but I was faster of course!” He boasted happily, paws dancing along the boat floor, eyes gleaming in excitement.
Erebus huffed in amusement as he adjusted the net, glancing across the peaceful waters of Zolkanis, his eyes kept being drawn to the poison barrier in the distance, expression growing dark and desperate before the voice of Shiloh drew him away from it again. “Erebus! Look, there's a huge school of them deeper down, I’m going to go after them!”

The funny little griffin-y things colloquially known as wingbeans are flightless, roughly cat-sized, seemingly mammalian creatures with curious nature.
They resemble bipedal cats with chicken feet, but not quite. They are usually covered in soft, floofy fur, except for their hind legs and pawpads. They have soft snoot covering their mouths, which they will boop into things and people they like. Snoot bumps are their way of saying hello.
They have big, bright eyes with vertical slit pupils, and their nostrils are hidden beneath the floof of the snoot. They trust their sight and hearing more than their sense of smell.
They have short arms with three fingers, that are usually held tucked against their chest. The fingers usually have hidden cat claws.
Their wings are small and covered in soft, fluffy feathers, that are used mostly as display and as an additional pair of arms when climbing. The wings have five fingers in a fluff mitten, each having a paw pad, which is where the
