In my dreams

In my dreams, a serpent weaves,
Scales of pearl and cosmic leaves.
A river of stars in midnight tide,
With golden fangs that pierce the sky.

Its eyes reflect the setting sun,
As oceans churn, the past undone.
A whisper deep, a silent roar,
Through endless waves forevermore.

It coils in thoughts I dare not keep,
A secret deep where nightmares sleep.
Yet in its gaze, the truth unwinds—
I wake to find it in my mind.
