Roommates 98 - Duel

In which the titular roommates make no actual appearance,

OR,

In which the artist comes from the Michelangelo school of drawing "women".

On a side note: I've recently strained my wrists, and the combined effort of this and other situations makes it very difficult to keep Roommates running on a weekly schedule. I'm not quitting the series, but after issue 100, the updates will be more sporadic. Thank you very much to everyone who has read, enjoyed, and commented.

... 100 comics. Sweet love of literacy. I never thought I'd get this far...

Erik...great at singing...sucks at home improvement.

Erik: "I think I have this chandelier set just rig..."
*CRASH*
Erik: "MERDE!"
Christine: "What IS it with you and hanging light fixtures?!"

And then you realize that they are the same actress and makes just that much more sense. ( Sarah Brightman Played the original Chris on Broadway, AND was Blind Mag for the movie.) But that means Chrises hair is the wrong color!!!!

Pika based the image more on the book than the play, and when I started the comic, I was still trying to decide what to do with moderate tones. Man, it's been a while since this comic, too...

Thank for pointing that out. But then it's just one MORE reason Erik likes Mag.

Yup. Manly women.
Actually, your women are much more feminine than Michaelangelo's.

I blame comics.

Ahh... I feel a bit more relaxed. But Christine did make a civil confrontation and passing of the heart. Learn to let go Christine, Erik will never forget you, and will always love you in a way. SO BACK OFF.

um... mag was a little harsh about the whole "replaced" thing. i stand by the belief that no one person can ever truly be "replaced" but someone can simply move on and chose not to remember when they can help it.

It was a slight dig at the fact that Mag was played (in the movie) by the same actress who played Christine in the original cast of Webber's Phantom.

Aww. I really love this arc. I think it's sweet and sad and the Christine/Mag conversation is just the right touch.

I don't exactly feel bad for her... but I do understand what she's feeling.
