A rabbit-crocodile noshes on an unwary lizard on a bed of clubmoss. I've always had a real fondness for these little archosaurs--how can you not? They bounce! I've restored it with a pelt of spiky protofeathers, which is entirely speculative and may very well be wrong. But I'm sort of tickled by the idea of spiky little stem-dinosaurs bristling like hedgehogs. And there seem to be some integument experiments happening around the base of the dinosaur/pterosaur line, so it's not totally out of the question.
I also realized as I was sketching this that there's something a bit Hallet about the pencil work. I didn't really intend that, but there you go.
Very nice! I also like the somewhat quill-like integument you gave it. Basal dinosauromorphs looks so weird. Like being halfway between a visibly "lizard-like" archosauromorph and a classic Coelophysis-grade theropod.
