I think you did a great job explaining the different steps you took in your process. I feel that someone just breaking into this kind of digital painting can learn a lot from this technique. You are so right at the end when you say that someone can read all the tutorials they want, but it is the act of actually doing it and getting your hands dirty that will really help you improve as an artist. This is the best part and advice of this entire tutorial. You have to fail many times before you can succeed. I have followed that frame of mind my entire artistic life. I have failed epic, but learning from those mistakes have made me a much better artist! Great job and I hope to see more from you!
