I promised to try to show what I liked about this building in response to comments on an earlier image [link] Well I like a good mission so today I wandered down to Vauxhall with some trusty Neopan 400 and gave it a go. I think I'll submit several images as a sort of series, this is the first of them.

I've been rating all my films two thirds of a stop slower than the rated speed for a while, but have been forgetting to mention it (for what that's worth -- maybe some people find it interesting). So in this case I rated the trusty Neopan 400 as 250. I've deduced that my EOS's meter underexposes by about 2/3 of a stop, and comments other people have made have led me to believe this is a 'feature' of the EOS range, for some reason known best to the Canon engineers.

Canon EOS 300, Fuji Neopan 400 rated 250, scanned neg, some dodging in photoshop
[edit] I managed to edit the image with a better version but the thumbnail is wrong (here anyway)
