Take this with a pinch of salt, I'm trying to write down my thought processed here:

This is interesting to look at for a few reasons.
The billboard and the people make a great composition. Your framing has really helped enhance this.
In light of the billboard, their mixed presence of hands becomes my next focal point, and I ask myself "What is each of them doing with their hands?".
Next I wonder about the situation, how did they get there, what are they doing (besides pinting obviously).
Then, I start wondering about the photographer, asking "How does he fit into the equation?". I notice an empty barstool, the only barstool I see, and wonder, "Is that the photographers' seat?". Also, is it by coincidence or by "accidental design" (ha ha) that the photographer is the only one with a higher seat than the rest (if the seat is indeed his/hers). Is it a sub-conscious expression of his always-roaming eye, wanting to make sure he/she sees everything in order to frame that moment in the form of a photograph.

In this case I know something about the photographer and can answer these questions mostly to my satisfaction, but I hope I'm not the only one who gets these thoughts (it would mean I've officially lost it). All in all I find this photograph interesting in that it keeps me looking at it and asking all sorts of questions. But it's also not too busy that I get lost in the elements.

And that's about all I have to say on the matter, haha. Nice work dude.

i like how the billboard background matches the brick wall.

haha, yeah those words on the sign are killer :D (Big Grin)

I dunno, it's odd actually. Before reading the words you just get the feeling of some mundane shot - but afterwards you start thinking about the people and what's lying behind their happy and friendly expressions.

then again maybe that's just my paranoia talking ;) (Wink)

It's quite a nice shot, does the same sort of thing that the previous one did... kinda juxtaposes the happy gathering of friends with the somewhat disturbing message of the billboard. (Even if it is just for a TV show)
