I did say you'd be seeing more of these from me :) (Smile) I was back there on Sunday afternoon to check out the sunset, and snapped this while I was there.

Battersea, London, August 2002
Canon EOS 300, 28-90mm, Kodak TX400, red filter, lab

nice capture of the reflection and negative space. though part of me wants to see a color version of this, the rest of my brain is telling it to shut up, that the black and white gives it a more dreamlike quality...

Incredible... I'm not sure what to say about it. I mean, really, everything about it is great. It just feels so very peaceful and soothing to look at. Excellent.

Completely successful photograph this! You've captured this perfectly, good work!!! I love the silhouette and the reflection of the buildings. Are these the Chelsea buildings they're working on building?

good gravy, thats nice. Really lovin the grain...
Speaking of, try running the noise filter on that high pass layer. Its a way that you can add grain to the mids, while keeping it out of the highs and lows... either overlay or soft light. I use the technique mostly when i'm res-ing something way the hell up to get rid of those jaggy artifacts... :) (Smile)

Very beautiful. I love the contrast. The silhoutte(?) is very effective. It looks very destroyed - just how I like it.

The reflection is definately my favourite part. It retains the same contrast, but the breaks cause by the ripples is excellent. It gives a great perpective.

A very good shot all around. Love the black and white +fav

Really nice. I like how the silhoutte sort of feels like the city isn't really a city, but a charred remains of a city.
