Well what do you know... This is my 'Manor' I grew up in New Cross, in fact my parents still live just up the road from the Bus Station. :-) (Smile) This view hasn't changed in over 20 years except maybe for the single deck 321 which wouldn't have been there. I'm glad you captured this on film. :-) (Smile)

yes you're right about the lack of contrast on the bus and left side. on the one hand I like the fact that it adds to the dreary grey introspective "london" feel of the picture, but on the other you're right that strictly speaking it is bad lighting. thanks for the constructive criticism! more of that please everyone

hehe, reminds me of when I used to live in england - taking the double decker bus all through ipswitch and stopping to eat at the scone shops :) (Smile) It's a good piece - I don't think you could've chosen a better depth of field here. The character of London is displayed nicely in the cracked street and weathered looking buildings. The thing that's keeping this piece from being outstanding is the greyscale. The bus is just too dark and blends in too much with the left side. Also the sky's lack of detail that day doesn't help either. Still I like it - it just doesn't stand out as much as some of your other work :P (Lick)
