Fairytale London by ash Fairytale London by ash
A late afternoon London skyline, photographed from Waterloo Bridge. I'm not sure what the building is to be honest -- might be the houses of parliment? Shot after a meetup of some UK deviants at the Tate Modern.

London, England, August 2002

The town looks so small compared to those awesome clouds, great capture!

very nice, i like the way the grain of the neopan looks, it adds a lot to it. this is the second picture ive seen today where the grain added a lot to the mood. i really like the contrast between the skyline and the sky as well.

Yeah. Really like the grain of the clouds here against the crisp outlines of the buildings. Superb. +fav

Reminds me of a book I read... Neverwhere.. and a mirage at the same time... what a fantastic feeling I get from just gazing into the immensity of sky and what might well be taken for some deserted eastern city.

Nice contrast of clouds and silhouette of buildings.
Gives it a real creepy look almost, like dark castles beneath
the progression of clouds.
just wonderful.......

beautiful use of negative space, the concentration is lead to the clouds movements but the lower silhouettes from the buildings create really nice contrast. perfect composition!

the grain looks really nice here, and the ray of light coming through the clouds creates a dreamy atmosphere.

Heh.. Kinda worrying I don't recognise a single building there, despite living in London all my life... rofl

I guess I live in South London, so yeah.. I can blame that...

Anyway! Nice Photo Nod
