Chinatown Chicken by ash Chinatown Chicken by ash
Alrighty then, it's probably time I submitted something :) (Smile)
This is another Chinatown shot, a barbeque chicken restaurant on Wardour Street.

Love your street stuff... especially at night. This is a great addition to the collection.

The Duck/Chicken debate : Hell, I'd call it Chinatown Fowl. That way you get to cover a helluva lot of poultry and also allude to the, er. grossness of such open displays of animal corpses. My status as an omnivore is most under threat when I pass through the carniverous honesty of Chinatown.

A colour version could be too ugly for me. I can cope with most of what [link] can throw at me in the way of human death and disfigurement, but show me dead / dying / or cruelty to animals and it's different story. How liberal fairy of me.

PhotoParadox: By definition, grainy b&w is a radical abstraction of any scene, and yet journalistic realism remains its forte.

Street journalism fans should check out

I like the movement and composition, bringing in the cook, the chicken (or are some of them duck) and the hint of outside street traffic.

i don't think it's one of your better photos, but i do love how you captured the environment.
