yeah the pole sucks, left my hacksaw at home that day LOL
I like the segafredo sign, even if it is the home of inferior caffiene products. and as you say the pole with the lamp on top manages to squirm its way into the subject so it's kind of ok.

constructive criticism you asked for, here you go:
I like this photograph very much and I think compositionally you've done well. The depth of field is perfect for this type of shot, and the toning/contrast is absolutely spot on.
Now this is not your fault per se, but I think the two light poles detract/spoil the shot. It's a pity the traffic light and the segafredo sign are there, if they weren't, I wouldn't be able to tell when this photograph was taken. A good thing or a bad thing? Depends on your frame of reference I suppose.
Actually I've just thought about it........Only the pole in the foreground bothers me.....the one in the distance....where I can actually see the light, is great.
Criticism? you asked for it ;) (Wink) lol

Well, it's hard to find a relationship between Mao (?...I'm not a great connoisseur of communist things) Caledonian Road and Segafredo. Is there someone? :) (Smile)
On the other side the picture is very well balanced. No, wait...maybe a bit unbalanced on the left (but only as regards politics, uhuhuuhu...)

Seriously, I give you a real constructive and useful criticism: Illy Cafè is much better then Segafredo. Remember it when you want to take a good italian cafè ;) (Wink)

This is quite interesting, as all of your photos are, but is that an icon on the side of that building? and if so, who is it?
