Chakra, Battle of the Titans is an Original Characters comic inspired by Clover Studio's Okami . CY, Lednacek, Orca, Hielo, Cheetah, Motyl and Kuma are encharged to find and protect the Destiny Sword, an extremely powerful weapon that can reverse the fate of everyone. Their mission is very risky, but at the same time, they will also have to keep an eye on the evil wolf Jackal and his army of Zodiac Demons.

The idea for my comic Chakra, Battle Of The Titans came after abandoned my old comic, B.W.O.S., because I thought its plot was absolutely dumb. It was an art block period, and I only survived the boredom of the days by playing a PlayStation 2 game, Okami. Well, after completing that game, the inspiration suddenly came. I could see scenes of an epic adventure in my mind. At that very moment, I decided I HAD to write and draw it. Initially, the project was meant to be a sequel to the story from the videogame, starring the characters from Okami. However, as new ideas came to my mind, I decided that I wanted to create my own characters for this story. The plot mainly focuses on the seven Chakra Heroes, however, there are still hints to the videogame here and there in the story. Moreover, the tagline to each chapter reads "Inspired by Clover Studio's masterpiece Okami", as a thank you for such an amazing game.
My aim is to create something that has the same inspirational power as Okami has. Something that could be remembered with a smile, something REALLY worth reading, something that can actually move you to laughter, or to tears. I really hope I can achieve this goal, that’s why I’m putting my heart and soul in every single bit of my comic. I don’t seek glory or fame, or money or praise, I only want to let everyone know what ‘true inspiration’ means, I want everyone to know how I feel –and that’s how I feel: truly inspired!
Now, about the characters. There are so many characters in Chakra, that it’s hard to choose who to pick. I will have a go with the two main characters, C.Y. and Lendacek, and with the main “bad guy”, Jackal.
C.Y. is a shy and reserved grey wolf. There is nothing wrong with her, except for the fact that she has three eyes instead of only two. That is the reason why other wolves tend to avoid her. Despite her “weird” appearance, she will actually reveal to be a brave, sensitive and trustworthy person. Within her, a source of incredible power is hidden.
Lednacek, “Led” for his friends, may look like a so-called “sparkle wolf”. His green-ish fur is very unusual, but it doesn’t prevent him from making new friends. He is the first one to ever approach and befriend C.Y. despite her “defect”. Weak and insecure at first, he becomes a great second-in-command to the Chakra gang, after de death of his friend Urashima.
Jackal is one mysterious wolf. Ever since the Heroes meet him, he is shown having a superior, arrogant attitude. He is the leader of the Zodiac Demons, a group of twelve wolves who serve him. Extremely cruel and power hungry, Jackal is searching for the Destiny Sword (a powerful weapon that can control one’s soul) in order to dominate the world.
