Gorgeous, well drawn, expressive, well written, and the lighting and panel setup is beautiful and organized. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>

But...

I don't mean to be rude, but if Binti wasn't familiar with the concept of a Dad, wouldn't she recognize "Dad" as a name rather than a title like "Mom"? And then just be confused when she finds that their patriarchal figure is male?

I know it's a seriously small thing, and it's a cartoon, but it does seem mildly forced. I can understand though that her understanding it this way might save time, and she's an animal and thus the translations can be more specific, but I feel like there might be a better solution to it.
