Pixel art seems really difficult to me
I know some programs(like Photoshop) are supposed to make it easy, but I probably created mine the hard way, drawing individual frames on Paint Still, it wasn't too tricky! Eventually you get the hang of it :3
I tried to make an icon once in a special program, even had the base for it, and it sucked One has to think pixel to do it the right way, just like it differs in lineart drawings and true painting. I'm still trying to grasp the way some painters begin with just silhouettes, covering them with mixed blobs of color until all these layers become a painting. It's a lot about understanding how eyes work, this what I call 'true painting', 'cos making lineart just to delete it afterwards ain't the 'professional' way. There's pixel painting, too, which takes less color blobs and even more understanding - more precision, I'd say, and precision requires skill. Haha, I'm so philosophical today. I'm saying it all because I'm a self taught perfectionist who aspires to understand it all, and writing the thoughts down helps me think - so, sorry if I sound boring
Yesss I getcha, I really admire people who paint that way as well, it's just amazing and I don't get how they can create masterpieces without even a sketch to go from @@ There are so many ways to create art and I hope someday I'll be able to master at least a few :3 Pixel art too, it'd be really fun to be able to create more complex ones!
Ooh, this is really nice. Great job!
