On the subject of watermarks, I'm aware that they can sometimes seem intrusive towards the illustration they're protecting, however it is a sad truth that art theft is a very real and ongoing occurrence, especially here on DeviantArt. A number of art thieves specialize in cropping away or even painting over the watermark if it's not bold enough to erase the artist's mark on it, which can be hard to combat. I do try to keep the watermarks vague enough to let viewers appreciate the piece(especially more so in newer deviations, note this one is a few years old), although the reality is that this deviation(which is a personal piece) acts more like a preview rather than the full file for anyone seeing it on DeviantArt; any commissioned pieces or gift-art however will be delivered with minimal watermarks and full resolution for the commissioner to enjoy!
