At first seeing the picture it gave me an idea of a Mohran , then when ive read through it was just a shark

ill say it once i will say it again. i love how you combine your creations to fit their surroundings. a land sand shark that can burrow into the soft sand would show the toughness that that would take. very well done. although i think the spikes are a bit overdone
well imagine it with legs and giant wings and they are similar i meant they were similar in the dorsal area

very nice concept I like the thick rough scales and the fusion of body parts is perfect. Which is hard to do when pushing forms and limbs of the body that has layers of scales on top.

Cliche isn't always bad, plus the only other sand sharks I know of are from MH but they do not look as badass as this guy that's for sure XD
omg imagine trekking through the desert with someone and suddenly seeing this thing pop outta nowhere and eat your friend
who cares if they're cliche? this is one of the more interesting concepts for a sand shark i've seen. i like how you kept it's trianglar face shape instead of rounding it off like i've seen on some designs.
I see the shark qualities but its coming off as more reptilian like a lizard. Maybe its the leg...?
