Well, It's been a while since an update so I guess one is due. Life has been hectic recently. Goats have been driving me crazy, foxes have killed almost all the ducks so just a few left. My dad's cancer has put him in the hospital a few times. (he's in the hospital as I write this for coughing up blood...cancer sucks).
Sam will be 3 in just a few months, I can't believe it! I got hired to photograph a wedding in Florida in September so YAY!, big break!
The end of the month I am really looking forward to. I have been working hard on some cosplays and I think they are all coming together! I have a Zabrak Jedi, complete with horns and s
Well...my divorce was finalized today. I am a free woman! It's weird to think that I feel good about this but it's a new chapter in my life. My son and I are ready to take on the world.
My dad's radiation and Chemo are finished. He goes December 19th to talk to a surgeon about removing his stomach and esophagus. BUT, when they were doing the scans for his cancer they think it might have spread because they saw spots on his lungs. We will cross that bridge yet again, on the 19th.
I hope to go hiking again this weekend to upload some new pictures, we will see what the weather has in store. As some of you have seen I have gotten back in
I had to make a gofundme for my parents. Earlier in March my mom had a massive heart attack, open heart surgery. Now she is facing stage 4 kidney disease caused by her lupus. Now, my dad just got diagnosed with STAGE 3 cancer. Now both my parents are out of work. They went from having income to nothing. I want to scream. But, all i can do is move forward.
I have been very busy recently. The house is getting remodeled so I have been overseeing that. Sam is growing like a weed, just a few months before his second birthday. I also have started my own business and its been pretty steady. I work the tri-state area as a photographer. Wild life, people, sports....you name it I do it. Graduations seem to the big thing right now. Had to go to Charlotte for an 11 hour shoot about a week ago. I would rather be busy though than bored. Hope it gets busier.
Well. Sam is 10 months and 3 weeks old. Molly had to be put down in December. Her cancer had gotten too bad for her. We miss her very much. We paid off the house, so now the land and the house are ours! Mom has been diagnosed with kidney disease and lupus plus a few other illnesses, but she is still working and taking it very well.
I got a few new toys! :) I got a Canon Rebel T6, portable printer, and a very nice computer. 12 gigs of DDr5 ram and a new Wacom tablet. I hope to be able to start putting some new stuff up soon. Have a trip planned for the beach with weekend. Matt can't go but we are planning a trip to Kentucky later
Well, had to go to the cardiologist today. I am not a happy camper, but it could have been worse. For anyone who knows me I have 3 fears...clowns, needles, and heights (not going up but having to come back down...)
They had to draw 7 vials of blood and I passed out. Not happy.
I have to go back next week for an echo cardio-graph. I hope it comes back ok. They did an EKG today and the doctor was puzzled. In 45 seconds my heart went from 108, 80, 45, 100, 102, 85 beats per minute. He said that is not normal, and that was just sitting on the table, not moving or doing anything but breathing.
I also have to wear a heart monitor on my wr
Well, its official. Its a boy! I go tomorrow for the full 4d/3d ultrasound. Baby is big. He's already about 9 inches and almost a pound. He loves to torture my ribs. Got to go home for a few days for a family reunion and baby shower. Other half wants to move to Kentucky, he fell in love with t.
Had a wonderful trip. Spent a few hours at Carter Caves. Wanted to go to Greenbo but the rain didn't allow it. Came home yesterday and got stuck in traffic for 2 hours...ugh.
Molly, the horse, is doing a little better. She does not have Cushings disease. She has gained about 40 pounds the last month and a half. Hopefully she will be ok.
Well, got a call and now have another cat. Had two but Shiva got adopted. Shiva had been shot and thrown out, Tifa had been bit in the eye then hit by a car. Now we have fundraisers for the girls. Shiva has cost $480 so far and Tifa has been $176 but needs about $200 more before she can be adopted. Molly came back negative for Cushings disease, didn't know horses could get that. My due date changed from August 22 to September 10. Find out in April the gender.
Ok, life is great. I just turned 30. I went to the docot because I was sick and boom...not sick pregnant. Soon as I told my hubby he let me quit work. I am now a homemaker, tutor, teaching student and momma to be. I am due in August and couldn't be happier. December was rough with the loss of my horse, Goldie, due to age but things are looking better and better. Two beautiful horses, a house soon, whoot, and now a baby. I love life. My other half is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
Life has changed...alot in the last few months. Got married in April, transfered to a new store. Might be becoming a manager soon and my husband is up for a district manager job. Have two puppies that keep my hands full, 3 horses, school....martial arts. Its interesting to say the least. I love the way life has turned out. VBS starts Sunday so I'll be busy with that all my vacation, doing arts and stuff with children. But eh, I'm still alive and kickin. We live in an apartment but are actually looking at a really nice house. He is learning how to ride horses and loves to just chill.
Well, life's about the same. Got one more year before I graduate then think I am going to New Brunswick Canada for a year or 2. Seems to be a pretty place. Then off to Alaska, I hope.
Lilly died in December, someone posioned her. I am now up to 7 cats (2 half bob cats). Thank god they are outside cats. But anyway, all in all its been good.
A few friends and I have been chillin out after classes and such. I just...am starting to feel the need to start roaming again, almost like I am empty being in one place for too long. I am trying to get better about it, but we will see.
Finished the first 8 week mini-mester, now onto the second.
I take my finals this week so YAY. I am glad summer is coming. Means I can just work straight through. The Fall semester is going to be a killer. I have 7 classes (two online) and one class 3 time a week 5 hours a class. But only 45 mins of it is lecture so I can deal with it.
Sugizo died in January, at the ripe old age of 16. I miss the little furball. She was an amazing cat.
The thing that hit the hardest is my little beautiful dog named Cesar was killed in March. He was playing in the yard and some jerk swerved off the road, killing my dog instantly. I am waiting for his head stone to come in the mail. I miss him, we had just g
AHHH torn!!! She-Venom or Anti-Venom...really leaning towards anti venom cosplay. *sighs* Working on too many at once. Once I get some of the chaos settled down I will hopefully start uploading more pictures from the cons but I have over 1300 pi...
So far I have survived Hurricane Florence. Tomorrow we have a chance for Flooding and Tornadoes. I have a lot of cosplay photos I need to edit and will be away next week shooting a wedding. Hope everyone is well
whoooo....writing second sunrise I thought i was going to LOVE alexander's character. I mean I wanted to love him. But he's taken on a turn I didn't plan on. I love how characters write themselves...even when we do not plan on them doing so.
