OH GOD, when i thought it couldn't get worse you decided to make the grass stiff! The anatomy is more than impossible, the background is as flat and lifeless as a sheet of paper. Don't even make me start on the expression of the character.....

Dude, that's not even giving suggestions on the art piece. That's just plain rude. If you don't like the art, then why are you looking at it?

Sorry , but then that's not going to be my true opinion of a certain work.

Oh, calm down, dude. Everybody can make mistakes, but that's don't mean what YOU SHOULD SAY "OH THAT'S AWFUL BLAH BLAH BLAH". It's...not nice, you know? If you want to criticise or give some, maybe, help, write a private message, not a comment.

Do you even know why I write this in a comment? It's because I want every lovey sweetheart commenter to actually see major flaws of a certain work. You're actually considered an art model and inspiration for many newbies in the brony art community and you can't even see what's wrong with your drawings. Yeah it's not nice... it's not nice to have a huge slap on the face when somebody  tells you that you have huge mistakes in the way you make something you love. I honestly thought you'd do some actual research when I wrote these mocking comments on your previous works. You actually have a freaking chance to make something more decent for the huge fanbase! I personally criticize and always see the bad stuff in my drawings because that's what makes a fairly decent progress. I didn't just sit on my butt while a girl literally 5 years older than me tells me that it's not nice to say negative stuff about a certain work. And  i won't stop mocking cause somebody actually agreed with my opinion in the comments once and it was pleasant to see that what i  do is not pointless.

You know what? If you think what you can criticise my ways of drawing...then can YOU teach ME the right ways how to draw for example anatomy, or a background? No? Then shut up and go saying your negative shit to another peoples.
I can see my mistakes witout sticking my nose into it. Okay? Okay. I'm not going to continue this dialogue. Have a nice day.

By the way, i'm self thought myself, but i try to at least spot my flaws. And judging by your maid art, you clearly don't even know what's wrong with your work.'I can see my mistakes without  sticking my nose into it'  my ass

No, it's not my job to teach you. I don't give suggestions, because the answer to anatomy problems and lightning is the most obvious thing in the whole world- the one thing every artist has heard of but somehow the majority never seems to take in mind- a freaking anatomy book. Face it - most artists are self-thought and SOME of them clearly don't see any of their mistakes , because they don't show any signs of avoiding them.

I think you should give suggestions and solutions when you criticise stuff, that makes everything better instead of just saying the negative points and flaws about each piece.I know the piece has flaws, but you must also consider how much time and effort(she took only 3 hrs,not really a lot) and the skill each person has:3If you look at her other drawings you will see she rarely draws grass and physical backgrounds and draws rather in a 'cartoonish' way, just give her feedback and suggestions so she can improve...
I agree the anatomy is a little off in a sense that the legs are too long.Just shorten them and it will be fine...(Maybe also make the body 'fatter',she's very skinny compared to an average pony)

(Actually ArtyJoyful,I was thinking if it is now the time to remove the lineart of your artworks so that your pieces get more realistic.Look at some other artworks and you will realise they don't have black outlines...maybe it's time to take them of...It's hard at the start, but you could look at some tutorials on how to do it.)

FLAT and LIFELESS?? If there are shadows and reflections I would call that anything but flat and lifeless.

You do know there's more than just shadow and reflections that make a drawing alive, right? Even if you look at an artwork with the most perfect shadow placement ever, it an still look lifeless ( probably because the image is way too stiff to ever feel like a living person) Even if your anatomy is totally messed up, but you fill everything with emotion, then a few wrong lines could be excused.

hem... not going to fight but actualy fr the anatomy, ponies built up like this exist. i dunno how it's called in English but in french we call them "batis en descendant" or i guess something you can litteraly translate to "built up downwards" i practice horseriding and i can say that a lot of ponies, not often horses but ponies, look like this. they even need special harnesses for the saddle not to fall on their necks. they do have the withers lower than the croup. i'm used to see horses and ponies and i think her anatomy is realy good for a cartoony version.

after this... i think that if you can't give constructive advice and just dislike her art you should go away. but if you have anything to say nicely i'm sure she will accept it.

she even respected the breast, the elbows, the gaskins, even the hock joint... and if anything is not realistic enought in the way it's drawn, it's only the nose that should be attached to the forehead instead of the middle of the face, but for a cartoony version that would be a bit strange, and the ears that are actualy smaller...

Been playing Flight Rising since it became public in June 2013 (second day, actually), and Fae are my favorite breed. I was excited to see this in my subscriptions this morning. :D

As far as I can tell by your Fae dragon's eyes, you're in the Arcane element?

Nice picture, by the way! :)
