Se sculpture copy

Nearly a year since my last post. Been very busy so distracted. I post slightly more often on Facebook if anyone's bothered. Anyway, a sculpture heading towards finishing a while ago. Getting towards having a group of them finished in the not too distant future [he says]

Truly beautiful! Am I to understand that a bronze copy of this statue will be available for purchase? Any idea on timeline?

Thanks. Er, no [regarding timeline]. I can get any of my sculptures made in bronze, but it costs a fair amount. I am working on the original clay sculptures [got a few more on the go/in the works between paying work], but who ever wants one [or two in some cases, as some are designed as pairs for gate posts and the like. will become clearer at some point in the future] will have to foot the bill. I cannot lock up that money for foundry costs myself as I'm spending money [and time] making up a collection of figures, all be it slowly.

A few people have asked about some of my sculptures, for which I enquired at a foundry as to costs. Going by that, I'd guess you're looking at £5000 ballpark to get made. [It's about 3 and 1/2 ft tall to give you some idea].
I will be producing painted resin examples once I have a number of the sculptures finished to give examples of how they will look finished, but haven't got to that stage yet.
Where it is possible to admire other aspect angles of given work. Really liked. (sorry for my english)

You can't until I have it finished, as people copy them.
I want a copy of 3d model, very cool...

Amazing sculptor, what is the material it's constructed from?

I't a dark grey plastiline [plasticine] over a metal understructure and support [up the back you can't see here]. This material never hardens, so you need to make a mould from it to cast solid copies.

Gorgeous sculpture! About how long did this take to construct?

Actually I don't know, as I only get to work on my bits at weekends mostly, other peoples during the week. I would say about 50 or 60 hours maybe at this point, prior to moulding.

Gorgeous art nouveau influence. Great proportions, all in lengths and grace.
