As the book is now listed on Amazon, I guess the cat is out of the bag.
I have done the illustrations for a book called Colour Me Calm which can be found here http://www.amazon.co.uk/Color-Calm-Templates-Meditation-Relaxation/dp/1937994775/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1398203919&sr=8-1&keywords=color+me+calm. I'm still working on the last few coloured illustrations for it, before I turn my hand to the next book, which will be called Colour Me Happy.
This is the reason not much art has been uploaded and I've been very quiet here (sorry to those still awaiting a reply and I hope you'll forgive me).
It's all exciting for me and has bee
It's been a manic couple of months. The return to work (teaching) after the summer holidays has seriously curtailed time for artistic things. It's now half term, so a week away from the madness, and I can put pencil, pen, and paints to paper, particularly with a project or two that need to be started and time found to crack on with them now that the contracts have arrived and the first lists of work needed too.
For those who've left a question, comment or a note for me in my teaching-imposed absence, please accept my apologies for my tardiness in replying ... I will get around to them very soon, honest!
As for all of you lovely, wonderful
Angela ~ I don't do Facebook or any social media, but I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your line drawings in the Color Me series; I have and enjoy all five, but don't care quite as much for Stress Free because there aren't any scenes like the rest of the books have. I only work in colored markers (Prismacolor, Blick, Sharpie) and don't do any shading. Unfortunately, I have to take these beautifully bound books apart so I can work on the individual pages, I don't see how anyone can color them right in the books! I scan my colorings into an iPhoto album (over 200 so far), and keep the originals in plastic sleeves in big notebooks. Every now and then I wish I could ask you a question about a drawing, but I can't find your email address. Anyhow, be assured that you have at least one big fan here in Washington State! ~ Priscilla Miller (pillamilla)
Hi Priscilla. I rarely pop along here ...so my apologies for my delay in replying to you. I'm glad you like the work I do. People seem to eithr love or hate the bindings of the books; I had no say in this. If you'd like my email address it's Artwyrd at aol dot com.
