For some reason, I think this idea, if taken seriously, would be a major problem. If dream-beasts are manifestations of issues we must deal with and learn how to conquer during waking hours, wouldn't this amount to "fixing" someone's problems for them, instead of their growing as people?

/sorry I know this is meant to be silly, just got me thinking
