Deviants

Well, summer is in full tilt here in Nova Scotia, Canada.  We are having hot days and cold days as usual.  The flowers are out, the birds are nesting and the sun is shining (really, it's actually sunny out today).

It is a fine time for another art challenge!  This time on the broad theme of summer.  Again, anything from simple sketches to full color images are welcome.  Just get out and draw something from the season.  Be it flowers, baby birds, beach scenes, camping trips, you name it, as long as there isn't any snow (we had enough of that last winter, crazy snow).

Draw us a picture and add it to the Summer - Art Challenge folder.

Have a great summer!

~SunCat~

Hey KM,  A lot of the individual artists are still regularly posting to their sites, a few have ongoing Webcomics. Check out TigerKnight's two strips at www.tigerknight.com/blog and  SunCatRunes pencil strip(very nice!) at her deviant site: suncatrune.deviantart.com/.
I have an ongoing strip at www.abalonofcalifornia.com/.
I know you were working on developing Dragon-based characters; are you still doing that?

Actually yes i am still doing that but also been doing a lot of sketchbook practice. Which i posted a lot on the FA forums but since the forums have split from the main site to the Phoenix Forums just now.

Hey, I was wondering if this community is still around and kicking- on DA?

I've recently got into fur/anthro art and I've heard good things about ArtSpots and it's past.

Would love to be apart of it and contribute even if it's not active currently.

AS was quite unique and I don't think it can ever be replaced. The old group is pretty scattered but I do see some of them once in a while. *heavy sigh*

Aw that's a shame- was looking forward to Artspots. Guess I'll take the traditional route with art.

Thanks for the reply Kynliod.

Kinda sad how abandoned this community is! =( I miss the trading posts and stuff.

Wow. I was a member of ArtSpots a couple years back. With this site, I really learned a lot and improved so much thanks to all the critique I got. I don't think I'd be where I am today if it wasn't for ArtSpots.
