Jason Johnson is an illustrator/comic book artist/concept artist that started his career in 1995 at Wildstorm/Homage Studios under the tutelage of master comic book artist Jim Lee. There he drew titles such as Team 7, Wetworks, Gen13, Bay City Jive, and DV8. Shortly after that he expanded to work with DC and Marvel, doing work on Generation X, Flash, Impulse, and Robin. During this time he worked on the now defunct Penthouse Comix, as well. He also worked on a creator owned book for Image called Blue in 2001.

Jason took a hiatus from comics for several years and did work for magazines such as Maxim and Stuff. He then was hired as a concept artist for Sony Online Entertainment in 2007, developing characters and environments for MMORPG Free Realms and MMOFPS Planetside 2. At this time he also became the artist for The Illustrated Forum for Penthouse magazine.

In 2012, Jason stepped back into comics, starting with Zenescope drawing titles like Godstorm and Demons. Afterward, he found opportunity with Lion Forge Comics drawing the Knight Rider series and The Howling for Space Goat.
