This is very, very accurate! I mean, the lamp beside him, it's really gorgeus. fully detailed, as his clothes and his skin details. Very well done, very very well done!
Pretty young things are definitely a lot less work. All the texture of the wrinkled skin is tricky to do without making it look contrived, like they're wearing bad old-people make-up. Awesome job! That aside, is there something wrong with me that my favourite part of this picture is the bottle and goblet? And I don't even drink! And why are butlers always creepy old guys? I suppose a hot, young butler would expose the household to gossip. Oh, and I also like the chandelier... and the waistcoat, along with it's shiny little buttons.
Whoa ! That's so wonderful how you managed to do his face ! Those wrinkles ! And the old bottle and glass are amazing. The light through the wine is perfect !
Is his name really Jahn Daugh? Because if so, that's amazing and hilarious. I loooove the details in this, especially on the wine glass and bottle! And his skin! WOW!
Brilliant! I'm currently working on painting an elderly man myself (albeit a stylized toon) and discovered how bloody hard it is to work all the crinkles, wrinkles and textures of an old person's skin. And you come up with this fabolous piece of work - I'm insanely envious of your skill, and quite mesmerized too. As I said before, you never cease to amaze.

This picture is awesome. Just awesome. I saw the sneak peak from 'Today's Incentive' on Pheonix Requiem but even that was not enough to prepare me for the full thing. You did a really good job and I hope the anonymous commissioner is really pleased.
With a little touch of devilry ...
the backlit fine little hairs on his ear.
THAT is detail. you are amazing.
