Thanks so much. You're gonna love the Wacom stuff. Don't know if you're referring to the Cintiq or the Intuos tablets, but either way, they're the best tools around.

I just started recently so I got my hands on the bamboo splash to start. Sooo not disappointed. I'll be trying to keep an eye on your work. Like I said before, definitely inspiring. And thank you for responding.

See how the Bamboo goes. You might want to check in with the Intuos tablets instead. It's what professionals use, and really not that much more. You don't need a big one, just a 6x8 or even a 4x5. I have no problems with a 4x5. I have a 4x5 for when I'm on the go. The 6x8 I use at home. But really, I don't even use all the space on the 6x8.

Good luck! -Wei

Yea. I'd like to have one of those. I've done research on all of the Wacoms. Eventually I'll get an upgrade but $s too tight, like, non existent..lol. But I've been practicing a lot w Splash, and even tho I don't have your "soft brush" technique down, I'm getting there. Thanks for the message and tuts. U definitely are helping my world of art expand in the most fun yet serious ways. Maybe I'll get an intuos for Christmas.. Who knows..lol.

Yeah, those Wacom Tablets are pretty pricey. But they last a long time so it's a good investment. I have a small Intuos 2 tablet that I still use on the go=).

Indeed. Im already addicted.. Lol. Question about the Cintiq tho. After the initial set up, does it ALWAYS need the computer to operate? Or can you simply plug it in anywhere and still work on your projects?

The Cintiq is just a monitor that you can draw on, nothing more. So you'll always need a CPU.
