Haha. It was made for Anthony Eftekhari's matte painting course on CGMA in 2014. Just following an assignment pretty much. Was into heart of the swarm at the time and he had a piece like this. The red ship was inspired by a painting from John Liberto
Thank you! This was made in 2015 and the shape language was inspired by the common spaceship you could buy with triangular intakes. It just looked so smooth and modern with strong shapes that I couldn't stop thinking about the aesthetic.
